Stained Glass Class - All Inclusive - 2 x 3hr sessions

Rachelle Paul of Glass House Studios is excited to offer 3 summer stained glass classes held at Wonder'neath Art Society (2482 Maynard Street, Halifax). Each class will be divided up into 2 sessions with the first session focused on cutting, grinding and foiling glass, while the second session will be soldering and finishing the piece.

Learn the entire stained glass process using the copper foil method. Choose from one of 6 design templates and select from a variety of glass colours that are provided. You will then get to cut, grind, foil and solder your very own glass suncatcher and take your work of art home at the end of the class!

No stained glass experience is required. Suitable for mature youth and adults (16+) due to working with sharp and hazardous materials. People 16-18 y/o must be accompanied by an adult. All personal protective equipment will be provided to ensure safety (Safety glasses, gloves, etc.). Please wear closed toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting messy (aprons are great if you have them!). Also, bring a closed water bottle.

Please Note:
Stained glass involves working with lead, acids, and other corrosive materials.
